Warwick, RI – January 18, 2024 – DiSanto, Priest & Co. is pleased to announce the promotion of three new partners: Jeffrey Warfield, CPA, MST, Katie McIntosh, CPA, MST, and Melissa McKanna, CPA, MST effective January 1, 2024.
Jeffrey Warfield, CPA, MST
Jeffrey began his public accounting career in 1996 in Massachusetts, as a staff accountant with the firm Ziner & Company. After serving in multiple roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP and regional accounting firms in Massachusetts, he joined the Tax Department at DiSanto, Priest & Co. in 2022. Jeffrey has over 25 years of experience specializing in both domestic and international tax advisory, strategic planning, and consulting services in many different industries while advising privately owned businesses and high net worth individuals.
Jeffrey received his undergraduate degree with a concentration in accounting from Bentley University and his Master of Science in Taxation also from Bentley University. He has previously served as an advisor to the Board of Directors of various nonprofit organizations in Massachusetts.
Katie McIntosh, CPA, MST
Katie began her public accounting career in 2007 with DiSanto, Priest & Co. and most recently held the position of Principal in the Middle Market Department. Katie has over 17 years of experience, specializing in a variety of industries, including real estate and professional services from both an accounting and tax compliance, as well as planning perspective.
Katie received her undergraduate degree with a concentration in accounting from Bryant University, and a Master of Science in Taxation also from Bryant University. Katie serves as a Director of the DiSanto Priest Charitable Foundation.
Melissa McKanna, CPA, MST
Melissa began her public accounting career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in 2009. She joined the Tax Department at DiSanto, Priest & Co. in 2013. Melissa has over 15 years of experience and specializes in complex transactions in the real estate industry as well as having a niche focus with the firm’s venture capital / private equity clients and the enterprises that they invest in.
Melissa received her undergraduate degree with a concentration in accounting from Bryant University and her Master of Science in Taxation from Northeastern University. Melissa serves as a member of the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Federal and State Tax Committee.
