(Warwick, Rhode Island) – October 29th, 2018 – DiSanto, Priest & Co. Partner, Bill Pirolli, was honored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) with the Sustained Contribution Award for his many years of service to AICPA and the accounting profession. This award recognizes members that have continuously served in the AICPA in a volunteer capacity for at least 20 years including service as a standing committee chair.
Bill’s outstanding leadership and contributions extend to DiSanto, Priest & Co. and the accounting and business community. He is a past President of the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants (RISCPA) and the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce. Bill currently serves on the United States Board of Directors of the AICPA and International Board of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants. Bill has served in various AICPA committee roles including the Private Company Practice Section (PCPS) where he became chairman, the Managing an Accounting Practice (MAP), the Small Firm Advocacy Committee, the Group of 100 and the Chair of the Practitioners Planning Committee of the Practitioners/Tech Conference at Engage.
Bill joined as Partner of the DiSanto, Priest, & Co. in 2007 and has over 40 years serving clients in public accounting. He received his undergraduate degree from Bryant University with a concentration in Accounting.
